Jerry Has A Bad Habit

Oil Pastels are actually oil paint, in solid chalk form. In some ways, oil pastels are applied like paint, using the same way of seeing, knocking in colour areas, and thinking about the edges and the surface. However, because it is oil paint in a solid form, not a liquid, drying time is not an issue. Layering, under-painting, viscosity and pigment build-up is similar to oil paint, but because there is no drying involved, oil pastels need to be framed behind glass, unlike oil paintings. However, none of this matters, as these are prints that can be matted and framed.

I will include instructions with every print on how to matte and frame these. There will also be a Certificate of Authentication, verifying that it is an actual limited edition print from the artist, Gary Holme.
